In this book, Nancy's friend, Helen Corning, asks Nancy to come to her great-aunt's house because strange events have been happening there. Before Nancy can say yes to going, she must consult with her father first, but then she finds out from a man named Nathan Gomber, that her father is in danger because he has been doing legal work for a railroad company that is trying to make a new railroad and the people which they have bought the land from say they have not received enough money. So now, Nancy must decide which mystery she'll have to solve.
Significance:
This book is important because it shows how people are willing to go just to make money. People should care because this can happen to anyone at anytime.
Perspective:
"Carolyn Keene" is actually an alias so, I don't know how the author's experiences influenced the idea of this book.
Evidence:
The argument being made is that Mr. Drew is being accused of cheating people out of their land. There was no actual facts to support this.
Connections:
This connects to the real world because people can and will do these things just to get money. This has not be influenced by the past and has not yet been affected by the future.
Supposition:
Life would not be different because this is not true and has not happened. If a part of this problem in this book was different, for example, if Mr. Drew was not in danger, then the story wouldn't be as interesting.

"The Secret of Shadow Ranch" By: Carolyn Keene
Hi! my name is Julianne Pascual. The book I have just finished is one of the many Nancy Drew Mystery, "The Secret of Shadow Ranch" By' Carolyn Keene.
Significance:
This book is important because it shows what people are capable of. You should care because you never know what people are going to do, when they are or who is going to do it.
Perspective:
Actually, Carolyn Keene is an alias so I think that relates to Nancy because she uses alias' on some of the books.
Evidence:
I have no clue what the evidence is!
Connection:
This connects to the real world because there are people who will do these things and I think everyone can learn more about this.
Supposition:
If this would have never happened then the world will be free of most of the bad things in the world. But, if this happen, the world would be too perfect and it just won't seem that the world wasn't the world but replaced by something else, something different.
